I'm going to let you in on a little secret. I've never been a huge fan of Valentine's Day. It's not that I'm not a romantic, it's more that having a holiday to tell someone to say "I love you" was never my thing. Or maybe I still remember the years when I was younger and didn't have a "love", or the times when I did and my friends didn't. It's a holiday that tends to make a whole lot of people feel bad and everyone else spending money on marked up flowers (the price increases this time of year are ridiculous!) This year, for the first time, I heard of "Galentine's Day" and my heart soared! What is Galentine's Day? It's a day to celebrate your besties. Say thank you to those who constantly have your back. I just love this! Whether you're celebrating the regular Valentine holiday or Galentine's Day, just remember a candle lasts a lot longer than flowers! If you really want to be smelling the red roses, we have a candle for that! A candlelight dinner, a bottle of wine, and some great conversation will never do you wrong.
